November 18 2009: Emerald Sixties

This is another dress that has never been worn outside my house because it was too small and then too big.

I did attempt to wear this one once but the back split before I left the house.

It’s a beautiful colour but I’m not sure if the fabric is silk or some sort of synthetic made to look like silk. The guipure lace is perfectly dyed to match the fabric. It looks blue in this shot, but it’s actually a lovely emerald green.

The dress was another gift from Meredith – isn’t she the best shopper ever?
