2 November 2009 – Flower Power

This is another number from my vault. I’ve had this one for about 12 years and have fond memories of wearing it to gigs at Ric’s and the Zoo during the 1990’s.

I can’t remember where it came from or how much I paid for it – but I’m pretty sure it was a charity shop purchase.

I love the design of this dress because it can be worn by almost anyone. It is one piece that goes over the head and is held together with ties underneath. Friends of all shapes and sizes have borrowed it because it truly is ‘one size fits all’.

It’s made of nylon which at least keeps me warm in the air-conditioning at work.

The only thing that would top it off would be a great pair of 70’s orange platforms – my collection of vintage shoes is not what it should be.
